Now is your chance, but you better hurry. The Underexposed Film Festival yc has a deadline for submissions and that’s right around the corner: July 10th, 2016 and July 15th for online submissions.

In its 5th year, the UFFyc is all about “supporting the creativity and vision of independent filmmakers, and providing a forum where their work can be viewed”. They want to give a platform to undiscovered talent from around the world and offer the following submission categories and prizes range from $100 to $750:


The Arts Council of York County’s  yearly festival runs for 3 days in the fall. The 2016 festival is November 2-6, so for those of us waiting to see the fruits of artist’s labor will have to wait a while and be satisfied with last year’s winners like the Gospel of Hip Bones written and directed by Chris Gervais and Micah Troublefield.
